My foot is hosed up, and I can't hike. So I'm taking an alternative measure to get myself out and about with nature. This is Brown's Ranch, up in way north Scottsdale. If you like to mountain bike or hike, this place is the cat's ass.

Taken with my G-12, because I'm not hauling a 5D out there.

I really like the second one, Jeff.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

I can't decide. I like them both.

As much as I like the full color version, the second one gets my vote. The color in the background of the color version, while beautiful, pulls my attention away from the main subject to some extent.  Super cool art, both car and photos.

Agreed.  I love the colors in the first one, but they draw they eye, whereas in the second one, it is 100% clear what you want the viewer to be looking at.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Thanks for the kind comments gentlemen. The harsh sunlight during the late afternoon made the color version more complicated with the distracting background you've noted. If I had been able to wait around until the sun had actually set it may have resulted in "softer" color vibrance; especially in the background. Unfortunately, at the Pavilions you can wait for better lighting only to have the car you want to photograph leave before you get your shot  ;)
