The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

This photo was taken on my first day of air to air shooting. Canon Elan II and 28-135mm IS lens. Fuji Provia 100.  Photo "ship" (more like small boat) was a Cessna 172 with the starboard window open.  My primary impression at the time was that it was much harder than I thought it would be.

Interesting to see two Waco's in the same day, at two different airports, that have had their cowlings removed since the last time I saw them.
