As always, another awesome night shoot at PASM, thanks to everyone who helped put this together!

Did a little playing around with my new Triggertrap app on my phone, using my Samsung Galaxy S4 to control my Nikon D7000.
This is 11 five-minute images stacked in Startrails.

Ha!  This one is awesome.  Very well seen.  Cool star trail shot too!

Thanks Joe!  After using the facilities, I turned around and saw this out the window.  It looked like an old airport terminal to me, so I couldn't pass it up and not use a Mr. Hankey reference.

I'm pleased with the star trails shot too, and I'm very happy with Triggertrap.  This was the first time I have used it, and I'm looking forward to really putting it to the test sometime soon.

I had a hard time with this shot because Star Trails uses a tool very similar to the "lighten" feature in photoshop, and on one of my frames, Dave had shined a light on the nose just under the cockpit to get a point to focus on in the dark (and he was awesome enough to call me before he did so to ask if it was alright) and - okay, I just mentally figured out how to do this better so will give it another go later today.

Very nice star trails gentlemen. After Kaspar teaches me to do timelapse, you'll need to teach me astro trickery  ;D

Matt - Your Connie shot is terrific.

Thanks everyone for coming out for the night shoot.  It was a nearly perfect evening with great moonlight and comfortable weather.  I can't wait to see more images--and I can't wait to actually start processing mine!

Thanks John for helping to make this happen; this old man is very appreciative of your efforts. The night photography gatherings at PASM have quickly become one of my very favorite photo-ops. I hope I never wear-out my welcome.

Just as the setting sun was bathing PASM's English Electric F.53 Lightning with near perfect golden light, our favorite vagrant California aviation photographer photo-bombed my carefully framed image and performed some type of unnatural act  :o   :o   :o

I'm confident that Ken will be happy to autograph 8x10 glossies upon request  ;)   ;D

Having spent most of today officiating at my daughter's swim meet, I too can't wait to get started working on my shots from last night.  The bar has been set pretty high with the shots that have been posted.

Wow, after learning last night that you were using an 8 mm fisheye at the time, and now seeing this shot, I'm pretty sure I ended up inadvertently photo-bombing multiple frames in this group - in addition to providing one or two flashlight illuminated highlights around the cockpit area.  Sorry 'bout that!
