Anna,

I love this shot. Great perspective and warm rustic tones. Excellent work.

Jeff,

I don't think the Gannet ever looked so good.  Really like the moonlit shot.

Jeff,

I don't think the Gannet ever looked so good.  Really like the moonlit shot.

Thanks Anna. I guess I've got a "thing" going for the Gannet  ;D

I really like how you've captured the Connie's at PASM. I've always liked the Constellation; however, I could never find an composition/framing that I liked. Your two images are terrific and inspire me for future visits. I also like how you photographed the Buff. The darker/cool blues hues predominate, with warm orange and red highlights adding very interesting contrast and balance. Your low angle really allows the sky to provide an excellent background. Well done all the way around.

For the sake of brevity please read Jeff's comments regarding the Constellation shots, B-52 also.  The triple tails of the Constellation are its iconic trademark and you artfully captured that feature in both shots.  The B-52 photo looks especially good when viewed at the larger size on Flicker.

"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

Thank you for the kind words.  Means a lot to this beginner photographer.   :)

It was such a beautiful sunset with the right mix of clouds to make for some really nice opportunities with the Connie's.  What gorgeous, sensuous styling lines those aircraft have, just begging to be captured "on film".
