Everyone has been posting magnificent shots....  It was a fantastic evening.  It shows in the photos posted so far.

I like what I have seen so far.  Here is the first of mine I have been able to process...

Very nice work on the Supersonico John. You captured all the great colors and graphics wonderfully. I wanted to photograph that bird myself but ran out of time. Oh well, motivation for the next visit  ;D

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

While this image is a bit soft on the manual focus, I kept coming back to it.  Nothing like a Guppy!

A Bygone Era...

Anna - ever since you showed that to me on your LCD, I've been wondering when you'd post it. It looks even better on the "big screen". Excellent work young lady.

GANNET MOONRISE

Another try at the Gannet later in the evening.
This time illumination is provided primarily by a full moon (about the 11-o'clock position), with fill-light painted on the shadow side of the fuselage with my trusty LED flashlight (clearance bin at BassPro).
At first I could not figure out how the background got such a warm tonality. Then I remembered that the ever popular softball fields lights were still on when I made this photograph and influenced the background color balance.

Thank you Jeff....  Trying to learn more patience shooting to let those evening colors come into full play.

Tower Guy

Thank you Jeff, when we have all these fine shooters around, I am always looking for the unusual and interesting subjects. PASM never fails me, love that place.
