Friday (10/18/13) down in Yuma for WTI.

"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

Ned, how did the hawk shots come out? Mine are just OK. I'll post one up soon.

Pretty sure this was a WTI participant - anyone else catch this one or another one out there as well?

The Adversary...

Actually, these guys are typically out over the ranges working with JTAC and Air Officer trainees who are learning how to direct airstrikes on enemy positions.  Air USA is one of the only (if not the only) civilian operators currently cleared to carry and drop BDU-33 practice bombs.  MAWTS-1 runs an Air Officer course as part of WTI, and chances are that what these guys were supporting.

Awesome shot, too!

Thanks Joe, and thanks for the info.

It would have been nice if they busted out their MiG-29.

Joe Copalman

Right?  I'm hoping we'll start seeing Draken's MiG-21s or A-4Ks or Macchi 339s supporting WTI in the near future.
