Matt Ottosen

We are now accepting nominations for the October 2013 POTM.
You are allowed to nominate TWO (2) photos for POTM.  Please keep track of your nominations.
The nominations do not have to be given at the same time, just within the POTM time frame.

To nominate a photo, click on the link within the post that says "Report to moderator" and enter a comment requesting to nominate this photo for POTM.  This will send us an email letting us know which photo you would like to nominate.  If there is more than one photo within the post please remember to let us know which photo you are nominating.  You may also include a comment indicating the reason why you think the photo deserves consideration for POTM, such as composition, uniqueness, special lighting or other conditions, etc.

Please remember:
1. The photo must have been posted to the forum between the 15th of August and the 20th of September.  This gives photos posted right at the end of the previous month's nomination time-frame an opportunity to be discovered.
2. Each member can nominate two photos (choose wisely and keep track, you cannot change your nominations).
3. Photos should prominently feature an aircraft.
4. When the poll opens you are allowed one vote, you can change your vote if you change your mind (until the poll closes), but you cannot vote for your own photo.  Results will only be shown after the poll period has ended.
5  Please do not post any comments about the photos which have been nominated.

The winning photo will be displayed in the slideshow on the AzAP main page (http://azaerophoto.com) and the AzAP Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/azaerophoto).  The winning photo will be on display for the entire month.

Since I've been a little lax on promoting the nomination of photos for the Oct. POTM, I will take nominations until 7:00 p.m. MST on Thurs., 26-Sept.-2013.

Review the photos posted since 15-Aug thru 20 Sept. and select up to two for nomination as the Oct. POTM.

I've got a public meeting this evening on the west side of town that will have me traveling the freeway when the voting period ends; however, with the precincts currently reporting, Fox News is projecting Jay as the winner  ;D

Just let me be the first to congratulate Jay for a tremendous image. I know this may be considered premature, but his selection as POTM for October is well deserved. I think the composition and b&w conversion is superb. Well done Jay.
