Lots of love for the Hustler Dave; very nice image. This and the 104 were my 2 favorite military airplanes when I was a kid - still in my top 10. I remember vividly when Dad took me to the ANG at Sky Harbor in 1962 to see a B-58 that was visiting from a Texas squadron - I don't recall which one. I remember walking around the Hustler and thinking how cool it looked. I later built several B-58 models.

My final shot of the night.  Came out pretty underexposed (had to pop the flash from further back, and didn't get the front), so balancing it out in Lightroom introduced quite a bit of noise.  I got the "Waitin' on you, princess" call from Dave S. while I was shooting this, so my second attempt will have to wait until next time.

Hey Princess - The more I look at this image the better I like it. I had to get past my tendency to see my great uncle Elmo's face every time I look at a C-124; but there is no arguing the quality of the light. While you may have initially thought the underexposure and resulting hard work in LR created some noise issues, I feel the softer light wins the day. How you blended the artificial illumination so subtly is amazing. Excellent work and an even better photograph sir.

BTW, every now and then you need to stop the overly harsh self critiques. While it can be fun to watch your attempts to join Opus Dei with the self-flagellation, you also need to pat yourself on the back once in a while

Oh, I don't hate it or anything, just a little too much "hair" on that chinny-chin-chin.  Motivation for a rematch.  Thanks for the feedback, everyone.
