The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

During WTI 2-13 I participated in two CH-53E training missions, one slingload flight and the other was aerial gunnery, for an article I was writing for SoAR (seen here: HEAVY METAL THUNDER).

Ground personnel make a final check to this M777 howitzer's harness after attaching it to the hovering CH-53E.

Nice portrait of the 53 Matt. You made the "high noon" lighting look better than it typically yields.
