Thanks.  I parked on Pecos for the approach to 30L.  It looks like it stopped pretty quickly.  Did it reach the Gazebo?  There were several photographers on Taxiway Circle when it parked.

It turned off at the same ramp entrance that most of the transient military uses.  Light was still awful if you were facing even a single degree south of east.  Guess I can always tell people I was there...

Polet Flight 4712 departed at 5:11 this afternoon, bound for Gander with a load of Boeing AH-64D Apaches for the Royal Saudi Land Forces.



Saudi Arabia purchased 24 Apaches, so it is likely that there will be a few more visits by the Antonov.

Thanks.  The customer is the Royal Saudi Land Forces.  They are buying 24 Apaches, so the Antonov will very likely be back for more.

Last time it departed late afternoon the following day.  Its flight plan has not yet been filed.

I got a real dumb question, On the side of the aircraft it show AH-124-100 but we call it an AN-124. If you goolge them both you get the same aircraft. So is it an AH-124 or an AN-124?

In the Cyrillinc alphabet our N looks like an H.
