I hope it's not cancelled. All of the already cancelled ones are Air Force, not Naval. Also I feel like Yuma is one big PR exercise for people to be less angry about that eternal money black hole admire the F-35.

I wonder what it is going to do the El Centro numbers. I already had El Centro as a higher priority since me and some friends had been planning on going to Plaster City and Campo as well (and that is 20 mins - 1 hr from El Centro).

As an alternative to Luke, my two grandsons have a complete collection of the die cast airplanes sold at Willie's pilot shop - I should know, I bought the damn things. They have warbirds, modern military aircraft, and several commercial airliners.

Any ways, I spoke with Rykr and Odin this evening and they've agreed to bring their entire collection to Willie and display it on one of the tables under the pagoda. I know its not the same as a real Luke airshow, but if you squint your eyes real hard and make jet noises with your mouths, it could be very impressive. If there is enough interest and someone agrees to buy them a soda for their troubles, I think we might just pull it off
