The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

TOUCHDOWN, RAIDERS!!!
Dynamic!

Thanks.  All credit goes to the pilot on that.  I played my normally-conservative self when it came to the prop blur stuff.

The shots are great!  I am looking for some pictures from VMFA-115, side number 207 & 212.  The pilot Captain Matthew Holcomb has asked for them.  Any help would be appreciated.  If you could send them to me at michelle.dee@navy.mil.

Just to add to what Michelle said, Captain Holcomb approached us at the end of the day looking for shots of both jets launching down the runway as they were to only two F/18's to do so simultaneously that day. So if anyone got them both in one frame that would be cool unfortunately I didn't. I am sure they would appreciate any other shots also though.
