Sweet capture Joe!  Sentimental Journey has always been one of my favorite B-17's.  As a kid I always enjoyed it when she showed up with all the other B-17's at the National Warplane Museum airshows in western New York.

Thanks guys.  Been waiting for the opportunity for 18+ months, finally was in the right place at the right time in the right light blah blah blah.  Hoping to get some more prop blur next time.

School is now in session...

Looks like Jay and whoever else is attending this weekend's air-to-air workshop had a hell of a flight this evening.  In addition to SJ, they shot Cripes a' Mighty, Stang, and that Jurca Spitfire.  The elusive Bearcat departed shortly before everyone, no idea if it was part of the flight as well.  Can't wait to see your shots, Jay.

Nice view of our departure.

No Bearcat for us...  :(

Many pics to follow.  Great first day.  Shooting some GA subjects on day 2.

Brief at 0630-ish, crank at 0700-ish, wheels up at 0730-ish.

We're not on as hard a time schedule with the GA subjects on Sunday.

Nah, it's my wife's birthday and I'm taking her and Nora and my nephew to that new aquarium at the Mills.  Figure FiFi will be back through at some point, I'll catch it then.
