The C-54 Sprayers were used in Virginia and Maryland to spray all the hardwood forest for Gypsymoth infestation that was killing many of the Old Growth hardwood trees on the East Coast.

I doubt that B-17 on the left was scrapped cause werent they snatched up as warbirds?
