We are now accepting nominations for the November POTM.
You are allowed to nominate TWO (2) photos for POTM.  Please keep track of your nominations.
The nominations do not have to be given at the same time, just within the POTM timeframe.

To nominate a photo, click on the link within the post that says "Report to moderator" and enter a comment requesting to nominate this photo for POTM.  This will send us an email letting us know which photo you would like to nominate.  If there is more than one photo within the post please remember to let us know which photo you are nominating.  You may also include a comment indicating the reason why you think the photo deserves consideration for POTM, such as composition, uniqueness, special lighting or other conditions, etc.

Please remember:
1. The photo must have been posted to the forum between the 15th of September and the 20th of October.  This gives photos posted right at the end of the previous month's nomination time-frame an opportunity to be discovered.
2. Each member can nominate two photos (choose wisely and keep track, you cannot change your nominations).
3. When the poll opens you are allowed one vote, you can change your vote if you change your mind (until the poll closes), but you cannot vote for your own photo.  Results will only be shown after the poll period has ended.
4  Please do not post any comments about the photos which have been nominated.

Starting with the winning photo for the March 2012 POTM; the winning photo will be displayed in the slideshow on the AzAP main page (http://azaerophoto.com), the AzAP Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/azaerophoto), and will also be put on display at the new Left Seat West Restaurant (Glendale Municipal Airport, inside the terminal) and website (http://www.leftseatrestaurant.com/).  The winning photo will be on display for the entire month.

Thanks Bill and a heartfelt thank you to all my fellow AzAP photographers. I'm always honored simply to have one of my images nominated by this group. It is especially satisfying that you voted for this particular image. It is not your typical aviation photograph and it likely falls into the 'artsy fartsy' category. As I explained in a prior post on photographic vision, I've had this image in my head for a while and was very pleased to finally execute it in Yuma during WTI. It is even more satisfying to have my colleagues also find the image appealing at some level. I truly value your continued encouragement and association - including Pasely
