South African A-330 ZS-SXX stopped at KTUS to clear customs then flew on to Pinal Airpark. 5/18/220.

Nice catch Ned. Do all the foreign liveries have to stop in KTUS on their journey to Pinal? Or, did these folks do that because of their route from SA?

I believe it's because they came directly from SA. If they had stopped somewhere else in the US and cleared customs there then I believe they should be able to just fly straight to Pinal.
