The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Took a bit of work to get this one to look right, as the F-15 and F-18 both flew in horrible light in the afternoon (morning F-18 flight yielded much better light, as Bill's image shows).
