Thanks Ned!  I think I was too busy chit-chatting with Bill and keeping an eye on my kids to be thrilled, but I'm definitely happy I made the effort to get out.  Wish I would have done the same for those Aussie Tankers the other day.

Cool shots of the KC-35s Jonathan, the Ohio guys are from Rickenbacker ANGB, I worked  the tower there years ago when it was SAC base.

A few from the first outing with the 5d Mk II.  Paired it with my 100-400 Mk I.
I think I'm going to buy the battery grip so it holds more like the 1Ds did.  My only complaint with the 5d is I felt it doesn't autofocus as quickly and track as well as 1Ds Mk II.  Could be a me thing. Anyways. I am happy with what I captured.

Very nice group of photos Ross, all cameras seem to have little differences that are subtle. I'm sure you'll come to enjoy shooting the 5D. If a battery pack makes it feel better, do it. Great panning also!
