A lucky break in the clouds....

Terrific image Rob. Wonderfully framed and you nailed the slow shutter speed panning.

Excellent panning shot Rob.  Great plan to head out to Sky Harbor this morning.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

I am not a panning expert, especially compared to many on this site, but I decided to try and get a little more adventurous during my last afternoon in town.

One final shot of yesterday's special visitor to Sky Harbor.  Arrived from Miami, picked up an American Airlines Boeing 757 engine from the American Airlines maintenance hangar, and departed for Las Américas International Airport, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  There was a sick American Airlines Boeing 757 in Santo Domingo that was in need of an engine swap.  Based on some of the Internet chatter that I have seen since yesterday's visit, it sounds like some US airlines use this company and aircraft to haul engines from the US to aircraft in need in foreign countries.
