The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Great capture Jeff, those monsoon clouds in the background really make a dramatic shot. Great treatment overall, you da man!

Thanks Harvey. Originally this was an "oh by the way" shot as we waited for the Qatar 747-8 BBJ to arrive. I got to looking at it closer this evening and realized it had some interesting elements. Hard to beat our summer storms for backdrops  ;)

That is a powerful shot Anna! Interesting how clearly you can see the reflections of the two engines on the sides of the nose.
