That looks like fun Jeff....   :)

It was definitely an interesting experience. Even shooting one level below the top of the T4 garage, it was fun trying to keep the camera dry. If it had been a tad cooler, I would have thought I was shooting at O'Hare rather than PHX  ;)

Jeff, I really like the rainy shots. It is so different from the norm, that it really makes them special.

Cool stuff.  Wish I made it over there. So close and yet so far...

Thanks gentlemen. It was fun trying to create a few images in the challenging conditions.

Evening approach to Phoenix Sky Harbor

My new challenge for myself.  Working to improve my panning shots at low shutter speeds for the propeller planes.  The small box haulers offer a lot of opportunities for practice.  I think I need to start doing push ups though to improve the arm strength when using the bigger telephoto.   :)

Spent the afternoon/early evening puttering around Sky Harbor, here's a few of my favorites:

Gray Arrival

Tri-jet Delight

Timberrrrr

Speedbird at Sunset

And I juuuuuuuust missed one of the new livery Southwest 737s as I was wandering up to my first shooting location today. Ah well.

Tower Guy

Very nice panning shot Matt, I do like the new paint on the SWA plane.

Thank you, Harvey! The more I see it the more I like it.

Andy, nice set of images.....

Agreed.  I especially like the "gray arrival" one.  Remarkably un-silhouettey given the conditions.
