Looks like two whales no longer task you.  Good to know 40th works in the winter.

40th was good for about three waves of approaches plus maybe three others that were high/low near misses.  Last near miss (and I mean JUST under the disc of the moon) was a King Air!

Delta flew-in an Airbus A330-300 into KPHX today.  Apparently, the aircraft was used as a charter for U of Wisconsin Badger fans and was flown from Madison, WI into Los Angeles for Tuesday's Rose Bowl against Stanford University.  For whatever reason, the aircraft was flown into Phoenix and sits at the remote remote at the end of the north runway.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
