Matt, your shot of the 135 turning into the break is awesome.  Very, very nice.

Thank you!

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this photo. It is an aerial my father took in the 1950's when stationed at the ANG base at Sky Harbor - things sure have changed.

This historic photo photo is awesome.  All those Sabre Dogs lined up sure brings back some memories.  Wow.  Did you take this photo?

Negative sir - my father took this when he was stationed at the Sky Harbor ANG. That being said, I can clearly remember him taking me to the base and walking the flight line - it was an awesome experience for a kid like me.

Hi Jeff - no problem posting historical photos in the appropriate threads (be they aircraft type, airport, etc), just make sure you are properly attributing them, which you've done with this post, so you're good to go.

I'm loving these shots.
