Newly repainted N134FA. Just out of the paint shop two days ago. Still some details to be added via vinyl stick-ons, like nose art.

They did some brush clearance over the summer. This is what's left of "Joe's" tree.

I don't recall seeing this Stearman before. It's marked N450ED. I can't find any record of this number anywhere, so it must be a new registration. The FAA N-number lookup page has apparently succomed to the government shutdown.

Update: This was a number change from N450EB. It's recently registered to someone in Mesa.

I thought that was just my computer.

Great shots as usual. I wanted to go to Coolidge, and a bunch of other events in Prescott, but there was no way I'd make it this weekend all the way from Ohio.

Looks like the 2013-2014 season kicked off in grand fashion!  Sorry I had to miss it...

It was actually kind of a slow day out there Saturday. Only about 60 aircraft, five or so of which were trainers doing touch and goes. Mostly regulars. The Lions Club guys started packing up about 1000 and the last airplane left by 1100. Lots of photogs there though.

Yeah, October & November numbers never seem to be as high as December through March.  Cooler temps and more snowbirds definitely have an impact on that.  But this still looks like a good start to the season.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."
