Jeff,

You took great advantage of the gorgeous sunrise this morning.  Very nicely done....

What lens did you use?

Thanks Anna. I was shooting with my Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 AI-S manual focus lens on my Sony A7RII. It was too cold and windy for this old man. I hope you and the other/tougher shooters did well. I only stayed 30-minutes, shot a handful of images of the DC-7B, and then headed home. I broke my own rule that says shooting time should at least equal windshield time. I'm definitely a weak sister  ;)

It was a rough day out on the runway.  The walk out was not bad, as the wind had not picked up yet before dawn.  The walk back was a slog straight into the wind.  Dehydrated as well from the wind.  Wiped me out.  I have been comatose for the last four hours taking a nap.  I will see soon if the effort was worth it.   :)
