Thanks Gents...  I was honestly surprised by where the depth of field fell.  I knew it would be really close to being nose to tail,
but I didn't think it would be within inches of being only nose to tail...

Better to be lucky than good.

Which brings me to this little gem that showed up this morning (12/3)

Did you catch the Blackhawk during the fly-in?

Believe it or not, I actually like the color version better than the b&w; but not by much. Very nice.

Why does it seem like there's so little traffic on the forum about Coolidge so far this Fall?  It always seemed like there were tons of photo reports from members starting in October each year... have the fly-ins been less interesting this year?

Rough weather/light for most of them so far, and other stuff going on closer in to town.  I was just thinking how psyched I am for January and especially February.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

November had iffy weather and October is always a crap shoot as to the activity level.

There were only two of us present for this month.

Jay -  Great shot of beautiful airplane. I love that bullet nose with the cylinder heads sticking out.  Was that taken with your 500mm or was he close enough for a shorter lens?
