A few more from this morning.

When did Coolidge become JFK??

"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

Thanks for posting those, Paul.  Work ended up keeping me from attending!

Looks like the clouds stayed far enough south to not spoil the day.

Very nice crisp shot Bubak.

When I first got a quick look at the Biplane in your first photo Jay, it looks almost as though he's doing a sideslip for you to get a head on shot, what with the nicely blurred background, and the way the gear orientation looks perpendicular to the runway line.  Cool.

I think he was just showing off...   ;D

He had to make like four passes before he could find a big enough hole in traffic to land.  He even got bagged by an ultralight on one approach.

I think this is a Jabiru...

Super Duper Cub on short final...

Here's a few of mine from this past weekend. Who says you need a long lens for aviation  ;) All of these were taken with a 18-55mm.

Wow Stephen I had no idea you were able to get that close to the action at Coolidge ,great work

Stephen Marshall

Thanks Jay! I agreed with you so I decided to take the shot. It's now my laptop desktop picture.

Chris, you can practically get right up to the runway. In fact I think the post Joe made about people being too close to the runway was most likely about me...  Oops?
