Both outstanding Jeff!  Really like the tight crop on the nacelle/prop hub and the dreamy soft background in the shot of the ADF antennae.

Where's Jeff?

Why didn't you tell me to get out of the frame? A terrific pano that has been irreparably disfigured by my presence  ;)

My obsessive and compulsive DC-7 photography continues with a tight shot of the starboard side eighteen-cylinder Wright R-3350 Turbo-Compound engines.  The second image is the first time I've photographed the entire airframe.  If you can guess where the third image was taken at Coolidge, I'll buy you a beverage.

I like how you crafted that compliment Scott; "round engine in a square format".  I've been trying to get square pegs in round holes most of my life.  Maybe this is the way to go  ;)  ;D

More fun photographing one of the R-3350's on the DC-7.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
