Way to go, Jay. I actually like some of the reader's choices better than the pro ones. The space winner is very strange.

I was just thumbing through the latest issue of 'Combat Aircraft' (march 2012) and was surprised to see on page 11 a photo from Mr Copalman of one of Dyncorps CH-46's that passed through Willie some time back, congrats Joe!

Joe Copalman

Thanks for the shout-out Chris.

Had another shot of a TO-5C in an article on the Army's ARL-M fleet in the previous issue as well.

I missed that but luckily its sitting on my desk right next to me ill have to check it out

Apparently this is my month to be in print.  Just got word that one of my comments on the F-35B that was posted in response to question on CA's Facebook page was printed in the new issue as well.  I had to go back and look at what I wrote, I was afraid I wrote something stupid, but I think I did alright.

so wasnt like, "oh my the F-35 isnt a noisy airplane I hope"

Joe Copalman

Nah, it was something along the lines of "The F-35B is a champagne solution to a beer problem" or something like that.  So I guess it was kind of stupid.

If I read the email correctly, this one will be double trucked in PilotMag's "Sight Picture" feature for April...

Congratulations Jay.

I got an email yesterday from AAA telling me that the photograph below will be published in the May/June issue of their "Highlands" magazine as the featured image for an article on scenic drives in Arizona. Funny thing is I did not even submit this photo to them or anyone else. It seems they found it hidden among all my Flickr aviation images. I guess this is a testament to making the most of the "Tags" function.
