The word "awesome" is somewhat over used these days but I thinks it's appropriate here. The A-10 really looks good from this angle, especially with this nice light and tasteful post processing.

Since I'm not able to make Hawgsmoke this week (Jury Duty took up my free time), this will have to do.

Very nice.  I like seeing the ground in this shot.

Thanks, I do too, that's exactly why I put it there!

Yes, this photo is Photoshopped...  I took the photo I had of the A-10 just as it was about to pass the tower, and I gently placed it into a shot that I had taken of the same A-10 as he was approaching the tower.

Inspired by Matt's image above, I took one of my terribly backlit shots and started playing with the sliders. BTW, this is not an HDR processed image. Just my humble attempt to take an shot that I was very disappointed in and see if there is anything to find on the wild side of the line. Definitely not your traditional aviation image. Just so you know, my monitor is not having issues and I know the image has a strong purple hue. This just felt right to me this evening. Maybe the meds are stronger than I originally thought. Therefore I title it….

The title is fitting!  I like it.

Thanks Scott. Since you and I are nearly the exact same age, I'm guessing you are referring to "The Outer Limits" scifi TV show from the early '60s. As I recall, a few of those episodes really freaked me out  :o

Jeff,

You are the winning contestant and in fact the only contestant.  Outer Limits is correct!

Do we need to start a "Photos edited while under the influence" thread?

If we ever run out of ideas for photo challenges, we can always use that one.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."
