Gents,

Nice coverage on the arrival of Air Force One.  Looks like the standard arrival is to use 30 into D-M.

VC-25A 82-8000 Air Force One on approach to land on Runway 30 Right at Willie this afternoon.
This was taken from the north side of Pecos, across from the business park.

Since Jay and I were standing cheek to jowl while AF1 flew by on final, our images are going to be similar. Accordingly, I offer you something slightly different.

Yes boys and girls, that is the SE corner of Pecos and Ellsworth (City of Mesa well site). 30-minutes earlier I had been told by a friend (who is also on Mesa PD) that nobody would be allowed to park or photograph from that location - one of my favorites for 30R. As you can see, about 10-minutes before AF1 began its final, the unwashed overwhelmed the authorities and they receded. I especially enjoy how SRP crews coincidentally had a service call in the let-down for AF1  ;D

Heck, we ended up in a good place and got a few nice shots, I'm just jealous  ;)

I apologize gang, but occasionally I process something in color just to see what all those other sliders are for :D

LOL.  Were they all "THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!"?

Solid shots everybody.  Wish I could have been there with y'all.
