Hey Mitchell, I think I saw that coming in, think it was about 6:15, I was sitting at the exit ramp for Broadway off of I-10, heading back to my company warehouse.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

The Boomers provide a perfect background for this shot.  Very nice, very nice indeed.

I really like this one Joe ,I love the detail on the fuselage all that grime ,its obvious its a working bird ,plus kinda nostalgic since I grew up just a few miles from where they built them .................................. ,hey wait! I just noticed on the nose it says "MD-10" ,did I miss something?

Thanks Chris!  DC-10s make me nostalgic as well, as it seemed that was all that flew out of O'Hare when I was growing up just outside Chicago.

MD-10 = DC-10 with updated avionics to make it common with the MD-11.

Yeah I read about it on everyones favorite online encyclopedia and it makes sence why they did the conversion now pilots who are trained on the MD-11 can fly the DC-10 and vice versa
