Very nice photo Anna. Was this taken at the 40th st. location we talked about a couple months ago? My orientation is off on this, is this sunrise or sunset, I'm thinking sunrise.

Thank you Harvey.   :)

This was at 40th St at sunset.  I went a bit further west to the second big transmission line tower so I was just across from the threshold of 25L.  The box haulers typically use 25L with the freight operations being on the south side of the field.

Getting to be that time of year where the light is good for shooting from 40th St.

Dittos, beautiful shot Anna.  You can really see how much twist the wing has in this view. Less incidence at tip than root.

Thank you Jeff and Scott....   ;D

What I really liked about the capture was the jello from the engines highlighted by the faint rays of sun trying to break through this morning's clouds way to the east.  The sunrise amongst the clouds reflecting off the nose of the airframe is pretty cool too.

Hi Anna, your description of what you like about this shot would have been mine nearly word for word. Hope I don't sound like a kiss up, but I really like this photo, nice work.

Joe Copalman

Holy jeezballs this is seriously one of the best months ever in terms of image quality.  Such an awesome image, Anna.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Thanks Joe and Harvey....   :)

I agree everyone on the forum has been contributing some incredible work.  Very inspirational to me to go out and work at the craft and learn, learn, learn.

Anna, yes that light in the jello air is a really nice feature of the image.  I especially like the way it looks on the closer engine's exhaust.
