We heard back from Michelle and Kris today.  Out of the twenty total images they selected from the sixty-plus submitted by all three groups, FOURTEEN of them were AzAP images.  Based on the strength of the initial submissions and on that of the ones selected by the judges to represent us, I had a feeling we'd have a strong showing, but I wasn't expecting 70%.  Couldn't be prouder of y'all right now.  Thanks to everyone who submitted images, and a special thanks to the judges.  It was not an easy task whittling the pool of submissions down to twenty shots, and to do so under the time crunch we were up against makes what they did even more remarkable.

Thanks again to everyone who participated.

Does that mean AzAP gets 70% of the spots for the next photo call?   :D

Great Job Every one. Glad to see that we are becomming one of the top aviation Photo groups out there.  :D
"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

Updated the post to show the names of the photographers.  (Watermarks notwithstanding, we thought it would be best to make the submissions about the photos, not the photographers themselves).

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
