Awesome shot Bill.  I wish this guy flew at the Luke show.

Actually, this isn't a Lockheed T-33, but a Canadair CT-133, but it's close.

I think the plane in the above photos is also a CT-133.

Do any of you long time Valley residents (that are old enough) remember this one. It used to be based at KDVT. The image is a scan from a slide taken in 1978. Apparently, the airplane was based there until 1992 though. It's now registered in New Mexico. This was before everybody got obsessed with painting their planes in military colors, authentic or not. It actually carries a sponsor name (or maybe it's the owner's business). If the lettering on the side isn't readable, it says "'Lyman Lake Special' Lyman Lake Marina St. Johns, Arizona." This is not the same CT-133 that is parked at KDVT now.

Thanks for the information, Keith. I don't have any photos of 84, but part of it shows up in the background of a photo of another aircraft. It was bare metal then too. I kind of like the old non-military paint schemes like this one.

This was taken in the much lamented days when you could actually go out on airport ramps and hangar areas. Sigh!  :'(
