Hello gents,

Thought I'd try to populate some of the boards in order to put all of Matt's hard work to the test.  So, anyone making the trip to Oshkosh this year?  This year will be my first time, and I'll be spending the whole week.  Let me know if anyone is going, and we can try to meet up sometime.

Flying in with a buddy and his brother in a Piper Arrow on July 25 and droning back to the valley on August 1 or 2 depending on weather.

Still mentally thrashing over how to get the necessary photo gear and clothes all into only 35lbs due to W&B concerns.

Febreeze = One Lens  .. Can't do it...  

ETA: I'm in contact with someone who will be camping with us at OSH and they've agreed to receive a FedEx for me!

A few more shots from the show this year.

1. Caught this guy hanging out on the exhaust ring of a Stinson.
2. They brought in a gaggle of birds to commemorate 100 years of powered flight in Canada.  They also had a Lancaster bomber.
3. Two F-15's arrived and made nice, vapor producing overhead breaks.

Okay, here are a few more for this evening's update.

1. Thursday morning at the seaplane base, over at Lake Winnebago.
2. Say what you will, but sail planes do not have ENGINES.  At least not turbine engines that make almost as much smoke as the wingtip smoke generators.
3. I like the look of the smoke produced by these wingtip generators.  The smoke gets entrapped within the vortices generated by the wings, and they can last a long time.
