I had just arrived at the hay stacks at NAF El Centro when I heard a "different" sounding swing-wing approaching. I stopped the truck, grabbed the camera and started shooting. Of course I was not set up yet so the awesome head-on shots that should have happened did not. I glanced down at the camera, made a few quick adjustments - like switching from attempted afterburner settings from the night before to daytime rotary wing settings and got this... I had heard this "Werewolf" around Yuma a couple times but was always at the other end of the field. My first ever (usable) H-64 image.

The old Cochise ramp is one of the few places at Tucson where ground shots can be had without a bunch of buildings and other aircraft in the background. There were a few of these including one longbow and a Chinook further down by the tower. Not to fond of posting I-phone pics but this I think turned out ok.
