I'm hoping this can grow into a thread were we can discuss the pros and cons of various hosting sites and uploading issues...

And to kick it off, I wanted to share the news that Zenfolio (my preferece) has made a couple nice tweaks over the last 24 hours:
1) If you have a slideshow on your homepage, it will now play on an iPad without any need for Flash
2) They've added the ability to use different tabs to get from page to page
3) (The Biggie) Zenfolio can now host video!

.......my problem with sides like Zenfolio is very simple.  Let's say, somebody is looking for
information or picture of a airplane to buy or use.  Google for example any N # and what you get?    http://www.airport-data.com/ or http://www.airliners.net/ or http://jetphotos.net/ or http://flightaware.com/ .  Your web is very nice, but each of the web sides I mentioned have 100 000s visitors every day.  For me is a better way have portfolio there.  You don't have to do any marketing, people just go there.

All well and good Kaspar but my website is certainly more than just aviation and it's also a way to establish an identity.

I've known from day one that I wasn't going to set the world on fire overnight but I'd like to think I've at least created some smoldering embers.

My participation here, in ISAP and in some other groups have also played a part in the process.
