I have officially been scheduled for Summer Tour onboard the B-17 Sentimental Journey! Here's my tentative dates and locations (locations could change):

Thursday, Sept. 17 – Monday, Sept. 28

KVIS -> KSMX -> KWJF -> KSEE -> KFFZ (608 NM)

KVIS - Visalia Municipal Airport, Visalia, CA
KSMX - Santa Maria Public Airport, Santa Maria, CA
KWJF - General William J Fox Airfield, Lancaster, CA
KSEE - Gillespie Field, El Cajon, CA
KFFZ - Falcon Field, Mesa, AZ

I'm going to be a Loadmaster/Photographer on this tour, but I'm hoping to be able to log some more Boeing B-17G time while I'm out (12 days and 608 NM, they'll need me to fly some). I'll have my logbook with me.

As the dates/locations firm up I'll have a better idea of TOAs for each location. I'll be keeping everyone updated via Twitter, and should be able to give at least a few hours notice for each location's TOA.

If you sign up for a Twitter account you can follow @azaerophoto and have the Tweets go directly to your cell phone. I also put a Twitter Widget on azaerophoto.com (the location of this widget will probably change).

Looks like the Mojave Air & Space Port (MHV, KMHV) will be added to my list of stops.  From our APSoCal friends:

Matt,

Can Sentimental Journey's flights be tracked on Flightaware?  It would be nice to be able to catch your return to FFZ on the 25th.

Here she is on FlightAware (doesn't look too active):

Don't worry, I already plan on keeping you guys informed on our arrival back to Falcon.  Arrival time to all tour stops is Noon, but I don't know if that will remain the same for our return flight.  I plan on calling as we are loading up with our ETA, and then I'll try to keep someone posted via text message while enroute.  I'm sure they will do a "bomber pass" on arrival back to falcon.

Northeast corner of McKellips and Greenfield in Mesa, AZ.  2017 N Greenfield Rd Mesa, AZ 85215

From Tucson, take the I-10 West to the Loop 202 Santan Freeway.  Take the 202 East to the 101 North and the 101 North to the 202 East (yes, it's ridiculous, but that's how loops work).  Take the 202 East to Greenfield, make a right, and Falcon Field will be on your left about two miles down.

I received my Arizona Wing Newsletter yesterday, and I thought y'all would enjoy this:

I have dealt with more than one editor and news director this summer after sending out media that is not too familiar with the B-17, or to simply put it, with the history of the WWII era.  I have been asked a couple of times this year if this airplane is being used in Iraq!
