Douglas DC-3A (C-53) "Skytrooper/Gooney Bird" ("Spirit of Benovia")(7313)(USAAF 42-47371)(N943DJ)(Benovia Winery Santa Rosa CA)(to Royal Air Force Dakota Mk III FJ712 in India, to 1st Troop Carrier Squadron 10th Air Force India, Central Air Transport Corporation (CATC) of China XT registration and was reportedly used by Chinese Nationalist President Chiang Kai-shek as his personal transport. It possibly carried him and his family from the mainland to Taiwan on December 10, 1949, when the communists took over China, Civil Air Transport (CAT) in Formosa as N8336C), to Hong Kong as N17948, TEMCO Aircraft Ft Worth N67Kk, N47L, Union Chemical, Southern Airways N147M, Tecumseh Products, Kalamazoo Aviation History Museum, Donald Jones N943DJ
