Tom, I agree with Jay, this is a great shot of the Gulfstream departing with the lighting it has. The very unique part is, I don't think I ever saw a departure shot like this out of SDL. Beauty!

Thanks Jay and Harvey, I appreciate your comments.  I was lucky to have good lighting at that hour, and the G650 has such a large wingspan.

Two great catches Tom. I've never seen one of the Navy Texans painted that way.  Very nice.

Tower Guy

Tom, your knocking these shots at SDL out of the ball park. This is a great looking aircraft with great light and the shadows on the mountains are very enhancing to the overall photo.

Thanks Harvey.  We've had some great sunsets lately, so I am just taking advantage of the nice light that's available at that hour.
