The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Been after this shot for a while - I've wanted a good prop blur/panning shot against that wall with little to no foreground or background clutter.  Finally got what I was after last week, and I love that the colorscheme on the aircraft echos that of the landscape.

Nice ones, Jay! I especially like the second one, and it is a Challenger.

First one is a Baron, though. Duchess has a t-tail. They're pretty rare these days.

Thanks Chris.

Wasn't really sure on #1 as it doesn't look so "Baron-ish" in later frames.  Must be an older one maybe...

It is an older 55 series one, where the newer ones are 58's. I spent a couple of hours on the deck at DVT with a pilot who has one a week or so ago and he talked my ear off about it. Plane owners do like to talk about their airplanes.  :D
