After talking to Joe I'm setting up a thread to post images from various Japanese locations. Hopefully Dunny will find it and might come in handy for an AZAP- Japan photocall. :-)

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Thanks guys, it was good to get "out there" again. November is the Iruma AB airshow (formerly Johnson AFB) only 6 miles north and known far and wide as the most crowded airshow on the planet but nearly everything the Japanese fly is there and in the air.

Spent the day at Hyakuri AB, Japan shooting from 4 different locations. Amazing doesn't begin to describe it. Here's one to get you started while I get some sleep before tackling a small mountain of CF cards in the morning.

Great stuff James, glad you finally made it out there! Unfortunately I think my days of visiting Japan are over - the company sends a 777 there these days.

You should check out Kasumigaura if you fancy some rotary action:

Hate to hear that. Thanks for the tip, I'll have to fit that into the schedule for sure.

Second visit to Hyakuri. Photos will trickle in as I'm typing handicapped due to an interaction between a Cutco knife and one of my most important typing fingers.
