Can I pay to have this printed on aluminum? I'm not even kidding Jeff. This is a super stellar image. Definitely captures the still futuristic lines of this mystical aircraft.

Thank you Ross for your very kind comments. We can talk off-line about a print. Frankly, this was a "grab" shot I took while waiting to access the outside display area. The fine folks at March Field Air Museum have added some red LED lights to the engine intakes that really look great when the hangar lights are off. In retrospect, I'd like another chance at shooting this airframe. Hopefully, there will be a future opportunity and I'll do a much better job.

Nice shootin', Quickdraw!

I don't even think I had my camera out at this point.

Jeff, that may have been a grab shot but it is a good one. That light on the red engine ring looks like the engine is starting up. Very cool young man.  ;D

Thanks Joe and Harvey. Here is another image from my obsession photographing the C-45. Reminds me of the antenna sticking out of the first color TV set we got in our home when I was a wee lad  ;D

Great use of DoF Jeff, this is a fun photo to look at . All the rivet trails and that antenna is straight out of the late sixties. I can see why you enjoyed shooting this aircraft. Well done!

Muchas gracias Harvey. While I tend to overdo the shallow DoF thing, it is fun when it works.

OPEN WIDE - My take on the museum's F-84 Thunderstreak. In case you were wondering, that is the tail of a B-52 photo-bombing me in the background  ;)  ;D

Great offerings Jeff, the shine on that F100 is a real favorite of mine. Your nose shots are always a good "pick" also.  ;D

Thank you Harvey. Hopefully, there will be another opportunity down the road to photograph at this terrific museum.
