From Tokyo to Falcon Field in 65 minutes - in a King Air.

Not really funny or weird, but I think it's interesting. Anybody know what this plane is used for? It's not the Shuttle transporter.

Never mind. Found it on Brian's site.

Yup, that'd be SOFIA.  Any SP is a fairly remarkable catch.

One more from PHX to Tokyo in a C182. Must have a time warp or something like that?

AAL2408, an American 738, from LAX to FALCON FIELD:  http://flightaware.com/live/flight/AAL2408

Obviously not going to land at KFFZ, as it is still climbing and accelerating.  But how cool would that be?

Last Friday, the flight track Honeywell 757 engine testbed N757HW zig-zagged back and forth by 200 miles several times.

Flightwise links flight tracks to Google Earth.  Projected in three dimensions, the flight track repeatedly goes through Mount Graham near Safford.

For about six minutes, something was seriously wrong with the position recording for the flight.

Looks like they're testing a new engine for Buckaroo Banzai.

They got the oscillation overthruster working.  According the the position log, it covered about 200 miles in three seconds.

787 tracing "787" and the Boeing logo over the Dakotas and Minnesota tonight.  Watch it live on Flightaware:  http://flightaware.com/live/flight/BOE236

I think they bailed on that effort...

Original track had them leaving an unfinished "B" and the current link doesn't spell anything.

Still going strong at 0430 in the AM. Got  787 and an almost done Boening logo.

I misinterpreted what they were drawing.  I saw the first part of 78... as a BO... and I thought they had given up on BOEING.  It looks really cool now!

What get me Jay, is that some one at Boeing sat down and ploted this out.  ;D

FMS Rules!

I'd like to know how the flight breaks down on a character per hour basis.

That was one (actually two) long lazy circles!
