Scott - I hear you on the mud. The Mormon Meteor was turned into the Mormon Mudder. It seems like we left a few hundred pounds of gumbo at the self service car wash in El Centro. While the Mudder ran smooth all the way home, I've been dropping dried mud clods the size of manhole covers ever since. This morning I went to finish the cleaning at a high power spray facility near my house. On the way, I hit a bump and a generous supply of El Centro top soil broke free of my frame and sent clods flying everywhere. When I looked in my mirror to see if I had started a chain-reaction accident on Brown Road, I could swear I saw two large farm animals fall off with the mud

That's my own fault. I should always prepare for all extremes. Sometimes, I just over think a situation and make a bad decision and leave home without enough clothes. At least I had my pants on.

Vance, you know I love you and your aviation photography. That being said, don't quit your day job to become a fashion photographer. Your image below is the most uncomplimentary candid photo I've seen in years. Jay has both eyes closed, Joe has a mouthful of Clif Bar, and I can't begin to describe the dumb expression on my face. This is clearly a candidate for the cover of Mad Magazine
