The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

I was laughing at the guys on the ground holding up the signs with numbers on them like Olympic judges.  They all had really low numbers on them like 1.3, 2.5, etc.  Very funny, and of course, I didn't get a single photo of it.
