Thanks James.  The light definitely gets more challenging as the day goes on but light and access in the morning definitely makes up for it.

Thanks Jeff.  I spoke to the Chief Master Sargeant who was there during the time of the shoot down.  I guess the MI-8 was going into a hover just as this A-10 was rolling in on another target.  Extremely bad timing for the Mi-8.  One short burst from the GAU and the MI-8 was history.

Really nice set Vance. I remember a news story of an A-10 shooting down a chopper. Don't know if it is the same one, but that is really cool to see.

Did some checking on the A-10 shooting down the MI-8 it was No.81-0964 was flown by Captain Todd 'Shanghai' Sheehy of the 511th TFS On Feb.15, 1991
