As most of you know, McChord sent three Globemasters to Willie and I show up with my 100-400L glass. Not a good combination when they are sitting on the ramp less than 20 yards from my shooting position - where was my 17-40? When you have three of these "wide bodies" parked cheek-to-jowl, they effectively block shots of other aircraft.

While I was trying to think of how to capture a few images, a fourth pig arrived in the afternoon heat. All I could get was porky gliding through the mirage

Finally, I notice the sun hitting one of the big P&W's nicely and I took a portrait of the fan blades.
