Okay...I've been out of town...what happened?  Was/is the pilot okay?  Hard landing?  I guess I'm surprised they didn't flat bed it back to Yuma.  This is a very nice shot, but surprised it was out in the open like this.

Birdstrike.  You can see the hole halfway down the leading edge of the left wing.  Pilot was okay.  It was out in the open because there was no place else to move it to to do the required work.

Wonder if Dillon Aero is doing a photoshoot for their 2011 calendar.  That UH-1 that came to Coolidge earlier in the year was a Dillon bird.  Perhaps they're doing the weapons mounts on these allied Hueys?
